Guests are welcomed through landscaped pathways leading to the island’s “Coral Bloom” architecture by Foster + Partners. Inspired by coral formations, the design reflects Shura Island’s commitment to harmonising luxury with the natural environment.
The Stay
The resort features 150 keys, including guestrooms, suites, and 15 private beachfront villas. Interiors are elevated with Ortigia Ambra Nera amenities and signature SLS detailing. The villas offer the most exclusive experience, with private pools, terraces, and dedicated living spaces—ideal for families or private escapes.
Dining Highlights
Culinary experiences are central to the resort. The Floating World serves refined Japanese cuisine, including miso-glazed black cod and prawn katsu sandos, alongside a traditional tea ritual.
Seabird brings Spanish and Portuguese coastal flavours with dishes like octopus rolls and baked salt fish with smoked honey butter.
Fi’lia delivers comforting Italian classics, from handmade pasta to wood-fired pizza.

The 1,146 sqm Ciel Spa offers hydrotherapy, advanced treatments like Platinum HydraFacial, LED therapy, and thermal zones with hammams and saunas.
