Renowned for her ability to blend cultural heritage with modern artistry, Azza Fahmy unveils her latest creation: the Rumuz Collection. Drawing inspiration from one of the most iconic symbols of protection and good fortune—the five-fingered Kaf or Khamsa—this bold collection intertwines traditional motifs with contemporary designs to create timeless pieces of jewelry that tell stories of strength, hope, and blessing.
Each piece in the Rumuz Collection reflects Azza Fahmy’s dedication to craftsmanship and cultural authenticity. By layering North African influences with intricate patterns and symbols, the collection bridges the past and present, offering designs that resonate with universal themes of empowerment and protection.
“When I was working on the Rumuz Collection, I consulted many experts from Egypt and the Arab World to understand the stories behind the different symbols of protection we wear,” says Azza Fahmy, highlighting the meticulous research and cultural reverence behind the collection.
The Rumuz Collection is vibrant and symbolic, exuding power and confidence. Motifs of protection, such as the Kaf and the Eye, are harmoniously combined with contemporary aesthetics to create striking pieces that are both meaningful and beautiful.
“In the Arab World, we found 38 symbols of protection, but the Kaf and the Eye are the dearest to us,” Fahmy explains, emphasizing the cultural and emotional significance of these cherished emblems. By incorporating these symbols, the collection not only pays homage to Arab heritage but also serves as a universal reminder of resilience and good fortune.
With the Rumuz Collection, Azza Fahmy continues her legacy of storytelling through jewelry, offering pieces that connect the wearer to rich traditions while empowering them with a modern sense of style and confidence.
